Mac Os Cursor Disappear After Game

When I run a game in full screen mode my cursor disappears. I’d like to know how to fix this because it is very annoying.

Mac Os Cursor Disappear After Game 2

Thanks!

  • Feb 15, 2015  My cursor is disappearing in some of my Word for Mac 2011 documents. It is fine at first, but at some point it disappears and does not come back. If I open in Word 2008, I can see the cursor.
  • Apr 25, 2017  I experienced the Time Machine problem where the MBP rebooted constantly when attaching an external hard drive. Just installed the latest Mac OS that fixes that problem. My guess is my Time Machine problems are my fault because I can't figure it out, but the disappearing mouse cursor makes figuring it out impossible.
  1. Given your explanation I assume you do have a cursor ingame when you are not running in fullscreen e.g. in window mode? Is this some 'stylized' cursor or is it the plain old Windows cursor?

If it is the latter it would be good to know the game (name) you are having the issue with as it may simply be that the game does not provide a cursor in the first place but the window mode simply not enabling the game to 'hide' the Windows cursor.

  2. did you change any cursor settings? applied theme? Which windows version you have?

    Change mouse settings
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/change-mouse-settings#1TC=windows-7
    1) right click on your windows desktop
    2) choose Personalise
    3) click on Pointers and click on Use default
    http://www.wikihow.com/Locate-a-Lost-Mouse-Pointer-on-Windows-Vista-(With-the-Ctrl-Key)

    1) Open: CONTROL PANEL
    2) Select: Mouse Pointers
    3) Disable ALL ancillary
pointer behavior (e.g. shadows, trails, non-default pointer shapes, precision
enhancement, Snap-To, Hide-pointer-while-typing… EVERYTHING! Just to be sure!)
    4) Run game.
